This role is essential in fostering relationships within the community, promoting public health initiatives, and supporting various programs aimed at improving the well-being of our residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to community engagement, making a positive impact through outreach and education. Responsibilities Develop and implement community outreach programs that promote public health initiatives. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring objectives are met within set timelines. Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of community programs and initiatives. Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support various community activities and events. Deliver engaging presentations and public speaking engagements to raise awareness on health-related topics. Organize fundraising events to support community programs and initiatives. Provide addiction counseling resources and support for individuals in need. Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to address community needs effectively. Utilize social media platforms for outreach, engagement, and promotion of community events. Qualifications Experience in public health or related fields is preferred. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Proficient in data collection methods and analysis techniques. Experience in volunteer management, including recruitment and training processes. Excellent public speaking abilities with a knack for engaging diverse audiences. Background in fundraising or event planning is a plus. Knowledge of addiction counseling practices is beneficial but not required. A degree in social work or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
