Job Title:
Resource Coordinator Position Summary:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Resource Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting families and individuals served through Fannin County Family Connection’s [FCFC] Family Resource Center. This position is responsible for providing one-on-one support, managing resource programs, overseeing financial assistance, writing detailed reports, maintaining strong client relationships, and fostering partnerships in the community. This position will provide in-person guidance to clients by sharing information, connecting them with resources, and identifying additional support and opportunities to increase stability and self-sufficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, people-focused, and committed to strengthening family well-being through access to resources, education, and engagement. Program Oversight, Development, & Facilitation Oversee the delivery of all non-food programing: Family Care Pre-School Morning Out Resource Support Financial Assistance Provide one-on-one support to clients, build trusting relationships, help identify needs, and connect them to resources. Maintain regular communication with all clientele and program participants Continuously recruit families and individuals into programming through outreach initiatives Plan and facilitate monthly support group meetings & quarterly events for Family Care participants. Lead monthly early childhood programming & coordinate early literacy partnerships Create family kits for the resource center and organize monthly book orders Coordinate transportation needs and search for opportunities to use FCFC van Financial Assistance Support Conduct meetings with clients seeking financial support Coordinate with the Financial Assistance Committee to review & approve assistance Ensure clients are upholding accountability portion of receiving assistance Write and submit detailed reports for all assistance given Volunteer & Resource Management Coordinate volunteer efforts to support all non-food programming Maintain and update Community Resource Guide in collaboration with partners

Community Engagement & Partnerships:

Represent FCFC at community events, collaborative meetings, & speaking engagements Pursue partnerships and networking to expand reach and resources

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in community outreach, financial assistance, family support services, social work, or program coordination. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse populations. Organized and detail-oriented with strong planning and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data tracking and reporting tools.

Working Conditions:

Some evening or weekend hours will be required for events or meetings. Local travel for outreach and community engagement is expected.

Full Time Position:

$18-20 per hour 3% matching IRA benefits
