We’re seeking a warm, driven, and ethically grounded Associate Therapist (LCSWA) to provide in-person therapy to adult clients. You’ll bring your expertise, professionalism, and compassion — we’ll help you thrive. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention and management services to clients in distress. Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including behavioral therapy and mental health counseling. Provide in-person outpatient therapy to adult clients Maintain timely documentation Commit to a consistent weekly schedule and maintain clinical availability Collaborate with practice staff on scheduling and coordination Participate in team consultations and support initiatives Adhere to ethical and professional standards under North Carolina licensure laws Skills Clinical Competence Strong foundational knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning Ability to conduct clinical assessments and formulate appropriate interventions Proficiency in delivering evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, mindfulness) Ability to build therapeutic rapport with diverse adult populations Documentation & Compliance Accurate and timely documentation of session notes, treatment plans, and progress Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to client confidentiality Ability to follow ethical guidelines set by the NASW and North Carolina licensure board Communication & Interpersonal Professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate with admin staff, clinical supervisors, and peers Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a team environment Organization & Time Management Ability to manage a consistent caseload and adhere to session schedules Dependability in maintaining recurring appointments and follow-ups Strong organizational skills to manage paperwork and case responsibilities Tech Proficiency Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., SimplePractice preferred) Basic computer literacy (email, file management, secure messaging) Ability to complete telehealth sessions if needed for backup or weather-related changes
