Signet Health is pleased to be partnering with Northern MaineMedical Center to create a new Outpatient Senior Adult BehavioralHealth program and an Outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehab Programlocated in Fort Kent, Maine. The programs are scheduled to open inearly spring. Immediate opportunities for a full-time LicensedClinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor. Thisincludes, but is not limited to comprehensive intake assessments,treatment planning, promoting patient progress with goals,individual, couples, family, or group therapy. This person willeffectively demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide patient care that is appropriate to the senior adult agepopulation. Requirements/Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master’s Degree in
Social Work or Counseling Licensure:
Maine licensure as a LCSW or LPC Other skills or knowledge:
Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively provide qualitypatient care. Working knowledge of the principles of growth anddevelopment as well as physical, emotional, and psycho-social needsof the geriatric patient population. Proven skills inwritten/verbal communications, problem solving, independentdecision making abilities, creativity, prioritization, andnecessary computer-related skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
2 years of related work experience in an outpatient orinpatient behavioral health setting Experience working in amultidisciplinary team setting Monday-Friday, Day Shift hours.
