Group Facilitator 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Mountainside, NJ 07092 Summary As a Group Facilitator at our PHP/IOP program, you will play a vital role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of individuals through structured group sessions. Reporting to the clinical supervisor, you will utilize core skills in behavioral therapy, patient assessment, and medical documentation to provide effective support. Your premium skills in psychotherapy and crisis intervention will be essential in addressing diverse client needs, particularly with children and families. With a focus on fostering a supportive environment, you will contribute to the overall mission of promoting mental health and resilience within the community. The Group Facilitator is responsible for conducting educational group sessions with our clients and supporting the mission of our organization.
Masters Level Accepted, Licensed Preferred Shift :
Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:30pm Part Time – Monday to Friday ($60/hr)
Responsibilities/Qualifications :
1. Provide education, process and supportive groups within organization. 2. Provide support to our population in regard to substance abuse. 3. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws concerning execution of all tasks. 4. Responsible for documenting all group notes into the EMR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines set forth by governing and accreditation agency. 5. Develop appropriate group sessions in which are approved by management prior to sessions. 6. Address all cares and concerns related to the client to the medical and/or clinical team as needed. 7. Ensure that the safety of the client is always our priority. 8. Any other duties as instructed by management. 9. Acquire and maintain all CEU, CPR, trainings, etc. as required by DMHA and JCAHO.
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other related field. Licensure preferred A minimum of 2 years in the related field
