Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Childcare Assistant to provide exceptional care for children in our community. As a Childcare Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children under your care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Duties:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and learn
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
• Assist with homework assignments and educational activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and children’s belongings
• Administer basic first aid when necessary
• Follow parents’ instructions regarding routines, discipline, and any specific needs of the children

Experience:

• Previous experience in childcare or babysitting roles
• Knowledge of toddler care, and preschool-aged child development
• Ability to cook nutritious meals for children
• Familiarity with basic first aid procedures
• Excellent communication skills with both children and parents
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
