Overview:

The ARC of the Greater Hudson Valley is seeking OMH Children’s Overnight Respite Providers The OMH Children’s Overnight Respite Provider will offer short-term overnight care in your home for children who need a temporary, safe and nurturing environment outside their primary residence. This is a flexible, on-call position and an important support service for families in our community in need of respite. Provide safe, overnight care for a child in your home. Communicate with agency staff and attend required check-ins. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a private, furnished bedroom available exclusively for respite use. Must pass a fingerprinting and criminal background check. Home must meet health, safety, and accessibility standards. Completion of all OMH-required training prior to providing care. Previous experience working with children or in human services is a plus. Follow all OMH guidelines and protocols for respite care.
