Hourly/Nonexempt Overview The Temporary CYO/Youth Ministry Assistant is responsible for engaging the youth of the parish and ensuring they are involved in ministry and evangelization through spirituality, service, and community. Job Responsibilities Coordinate and hold Youth Group gatherings Coordinate and plan Faith Formation with a Core Group of Middle School Catechists Manage Confirmation Parish service hours Assist with the College Prayer Night Manage Middle School volunteers for Night in Bethlehem Coordinate the March for Life, DOV Youth Rally participation, and Camp Covecrest Maintain the SJECC Youth portion of the website, bulletin, flyers, and
Flocknote Requirements:
Must be a practicing Catholic. Minimum High school diploma required, degree in Theology or related field preferred. Experience in Youth ministry; leading public prayer and public speaking as well as recruiting. Excellent communications skills both written and oral. Knowledge of Canva design software, preferred. Youth ministry certification preferred.
