Pastor Position Available In DeSoto, Florida

First Baptist Church of Nocatee is prayerfully seeking a full-time Pastor. We are a historical church located in a small rural community in southwest Florida, since 1890. We are a faithful congregation of 25-30 attending members. We are offering a starting salary of $50,000 plus additional benefits toward retirement and medical insurance. We have a church owned parsonage located next to our church. This home would be provided as a benefit, it is a 3 bedroom/2 bath house built in 2014. We are seeking someone with the following qualifications: (1) Meet the Biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9, (2) Must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, (3) Is called by God to be a Pastor of a church, (4) Mature, spiritual and caring man with leadership skills to lead our church to grow spiritually, (5) Pastoral experience

Responsibilities:

(1) Lead and conduct services on Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings, (2) Prepare and preach Spirit filled sermons without compromising the Word of God, (3) Work with deacons and other church leaders, (4) Provide spiritual leadership to members, (5) Provide pastoral care through visitation of church family, (6) Fellowship through social gatherings to strengthen the body of Christ.
