Interim Pastor / Pastor 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 1184 Rock Springs Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702 Overview Rock Springs Baptist Church is a Conservative, Old Fashioned, Mission Minded, KJV only, Southern Baptist church. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bible believing, KJV Pastor to lead our congregation and provide spiritual guidance to our community. The ideal candidate will possess strong public speaking skills and have a passion for mentoring individuals through various life challenges. This role involves not only delivering sermons but also offering bereavement support, crisis intervention, and conflict management, ensuring that all members feel supported and valued. Responsibilities Deliver engaging and meaningful sermons that inspire and educate the congregation. Provide pastoral care, including hospice care and bereavement support for families in need. Mentor individuals within the church community, fostering spiritual growth and personal development. Communicate effectively with congregants, addressing their spiritual needs and concerns. Manage conflicts within the congregation with sensitivity and professionalism. Offer crisis intervention services to those facing difficult life situations. Write and present educational materials that enhance the spiritual journey of church members. Organize community outreach programs to support those in need and promote church involvement. Requirements Proven experience in public speaking, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Strong skills in mentoring, crisis management, and conflict resolution. Excellent written communication skills for creating sermons, newsletters, and other church-related documents. Experience in hospice care or bereavement support is highly desirable. A deep understanding of spiritual teachings and a commitment to fostering a supportive community environment. Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers to achieve common goals.
