Intrepid Young Adults is hiring for a Senior Life Coach to support neurodiverse young adults in building skills, exploring their interests, and living fulfilling lives. We offer a person-centered, connection-focused approach and are seeking motivated team members to join our creative and compassionate community.
What You’ll Do:
The Senior Life Coach, as a member of the leadership team, will lead the facilitation of day to day living and recreation activities with young adults. The Senior Life Coach works alongside the clinical team to help young adults in developing and achieving their social and therapeutic goals. Supervise Life Coaches while on shift. Support young adults in reaching life plan goals related to independence, personal growth, and wellness Teach life skills such as cooking, budgeting, time management, and self-care Plan and participate in community-based activities , including recreation and volunteer opportunities Serve as a supportive, empowering presence in the daily lives of program participants
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for working with neurologically diverse young adults with Level I Autism and/or similar presentations A person-centered approach with a spirit of curiosity and service Strong interpersonal and communication skills A sense of adventure and openness to learning Previous experience in mental health, behavioral health, or coaching is a plus , but not required Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Must be 21 years or older Why Join Us?
