The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading group sessions aimed at providing support and guidance to individuals in substance use recovery. This position requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to foster a safe, inclusive environment for participants. The Group Facilitator will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, focusing on their mental health and well-being. Duties Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring that all participants feel heard and supported. Develop and implement therapeutic activities tailored to the needs of the group. Maintain accurate medical documentation and case notes in compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and case management. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote group sessions as required, ensuring accessibility for all participants. Monitor group dynamics and address any conflicts or issues that arise during sessions. Experience A background in substance use recovery or experience working with substance use recovery is preferred. Proven experience in patient care, case management, or related fields is essential. Familiarity with individual group counseling techniques and child family counseling practices is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical documentation standards. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.
