Job Summary:

Tracks and monitors containers after arrival into the US to ensure non entry is reported to US Customs in accordance with the Customs Federal Regulations. Facilitates examination process with customer and Centralized Examination Stations. Monitors Dwell Times while in the Port and communicates with UAC Department for potential abandonment cases. Capture and record seal discrepancies to support C-TPAT compliance. Keeps up the highest productivity and service levels standards to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities & Duties Meticulously tracks containers eligible for General Order to ensure proper paperwork is on file and compliant with US Customs regulations. Communicates with government agencies, overseas offices, and other departments on the status of the containers and provides guidance when inquiries are received. Provides excellent customer service in a timely manner to ensure the customer files proper entry and takes necessary steps to facilitate releases at examination stations. Sends notification to customers about discrepancies in piece count, customs inspections, dwell time, and General Order. Follows corporate guidelines when responding to customer questions professionally and effectively. Bills applicable exam and General Order fees Offers eligible UAC cases to the UAC department for further investigation. Records seal discrepancies and investigates inquiries with marine terminals and rail partners. Foresees potential challenges before they happen and has problem solving skills to field any unexpected issues. Required skills, experience, education
