We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Coverage Associate. The ideal candidate will have early-career experience in general litigation and strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Exposure to professional liability, product liability, or appellate work is a plus but not required. This position requires initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
Conducting legal research and preparing comprehensive reports and analysis
Participating in court conferences, depositions, and hearings as appropriate
Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with client guidelines
Maintaining accurate time records and billing entries

Required Skills/Qualifications:

3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting
Admission to practice in New York is required (additional bar admissions in NJ, CT, or PA are a plus)
Strong writing and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and a professional, team-oriented demeanor
Federal court or appellate experience is a plus, but not required
Billable requirement: 1900, annual bonus up to $25,000 with completed billables.

Salary range: $100,000- $150,000 DOE.
