Job DetailsResponsibilities:

1. Represent insurance companies and theirinsureds in litigation matters involving trucking and otherliability claims. 2. Drafting and arguing motions before the court.3. Conducting and defending depositions. 4. Evaluating andresolving claims and lawsuits in a timely and cost-effectivemanner. 5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients. 6.Interacting with clients, claims professionals, and opposingcounsel regularly to ensure a proactive approach to litigationmatters. 7. Conducting legal research and analysis of law sourcessuch as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles,treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legaldocuments, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc. 8. Proactivelymanaging a large caseload from case inception through trial orother resolution.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree froman accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience ininsurance defense litigation, with a focus on trucking andliability claims. 3. Active member in good standing with the StateBar of FL. 4. Proven ability to handle a high volume of cases frominception through resolution. 5. Exceptional negotiation, research,and communication skills. 6. Proficiency in legal research toolsand software. 7. Excellent analytical skills with the ability tomake sound judgments and decision-making skills. 8. Stronginterpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in ateam-oriented setting. 9. Superior organizational skills with theability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, andmanage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment. 10.Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability tomanage and build client relationships. 11. Proven track record ofcourtroom success, including trial experience. 12. Ability totravel as needed for case management.
