White, PC Rutherford, NJ Job Details Part-time | Contract From $100 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Google Workspace Real estate law Mid-level 3 years Real Estate License Law office Bar Full Job Description High volume real estate attorney with online presence looking to team-up with a residential real estate attorney to handle influx of current and prospective clients. Firm is tech enabled and team currently consists of real estate attorney (firm founder), paralegal, legal assistant, estate planning attorney, and real estate litigator (evictions, tax appeals, land-use and zoning). Clients will be sourced from existing firm clients and prospective online clients that contact us for legal assistance. Leads will be qualified by LexReception (phone calls) or online forms. Once qualified, there would be initial consultation from candidate with prospective client. Compensation will be on per file basis – 50/50. Administrative will be provided for the following only: (i) submitting Open Public Records Act Requests; (ii) drafting conveyance documents; (iii) shipping/mailing/printing. Charge per closing is $1,500.00 to $1,750.00 flat fee with small non-refundable retainer. Candidate must be ready, willing, and able to handle real estate transactions. Candidate must be comfortable speaking to and updating clients. Candidate must be eager for more business and have the bandwidth to accept clients. Firm has a large online marketing presence and client base, as well as ground level network to generate business. Candidate does not, besides initial consultations with prospective client, need to do any marketing or business generation activity.

Personality:

Candidate should be open, friendly, and amiable in their interactions with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel. There will be a small law firm atmosphere an extremely collegial. An attorney with a more formal approach or large to mid-level law firm background would not be a good fit.

Requirements:

3+ Years Residential Real Estate New Jersey law license Client Contact Experience Resides in North Jersey (Bergen, Hudson, Essex, or Passiac County) and able to meet clients periodically in Rutherford, New Jersey Must be able to quickly grasp and use technology. Candidate will utilize Asana (transactional client management), Documate (client intake form and document automation), Briskine (e-mail templates), Gsuite (Google calendar/Gmail), OneDrive (document storage), Evernote (knowledge base), OnePass (password security), and Docusign (e-signature).
