Legal Assistant/Paralegal Position Available In Charlotte, Florida

Legal Assistant/Paralegal All Injuries Law Firm, P.A. Port Charlotte, FL Rapidly growing injury law firm seeks a highly motivated paralegal to join our team. Paralegal/legal assistant will be part of a team that will help assist our clients navigate through this difficult process and prepare them for trial if needed.

• Job Functions:

• Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, meditations, hearings.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail.
• Attorney calendaring and docketing.
• Manage incoming emails, mail, phone calls, voicemails, docketing and calendaring.
• Management of court filings, including preparation of pleadings for e-filing in various courts.
• Various tasks and duties to support the legal assistant team as needed/assigned.
• Organizing, maintaining, and managing case files.
• Tracking filing and response deadlines.
• Reviewing and coordinating discovery and drafting discovery requests.

• Experience/Requirements:

• Full-time, 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F
• Trial experience preferred.
• Experience e-filing in both state and federal courts preferred.
• Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently.
• Possess excellent organization skills and be able to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Bilingual preferred.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$17.00 – $21.00 per hour
