• Business Litigation Position Overview
  We are a North Carolina based law firm seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our team and support our Business Litigation practice group.

In this role you will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions, while managing the discovery process and drafting legal documents. This role is essential to ensure the efficient operation of our legal practice and to support our clients’ needs in business litigation matters. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
Conduct legal research to support case development
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions
Manage the discovery process, including document collection and review
Organize and maintain case files and documentation
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed
Attend hearings and depositions to assist attorneys and take detailed notes
Assist attorneys with breach of contract, manufacturing defects, insurance coverage, business torts, shareholder disputes ect.
Assist with additional administrative tasks in the office Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in paralegal studies
Paralegal certification is preferred
5+ years of experience as a paralegal

• business litigation experience preferred Strong knowledge of litigation processes and legal terminology
  Proficient in legal research and writing
  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
