£56,940 – £71,160

Location:

Birmingham (Hybrid 2 days WFH) This is an exciting opportunity to work directly for the client on the largest ongoing infrastructure project in the UK. There are two positions available for Senior Health and Safety Managers to work on either the systems or stations schemes for this project. On the systems side you will be involved in the preconstruction design stage where you will provide health and safety assurance as well as coordinating with the 15 different stakeholders involved in the scheme. The systems scheme is currently in the design and validation stage with around 3 years left in the cycle before construction starts. On the stations side you will be responsible for overseeing the works of 2 stations as well as working alongside 2 main contractors, each of which have their own supply chain and stakeholders. You will be responsible for looking at both the most efficient and safest processes to complete both the design and construction of these schemes. Candidates must be able to prove where they have provided health and safety assurance to the design and preconstruction stages of projects as well as coordinating with various stakeholders and managing supply chains.

Requirements:

• Client-side infrastructure experience
• Supply chain and stakeholder management experience
• Full project life cycle experience

Desirable:

• Appreciation of ISO 45001
