What you will do:

Coordinate and facilitate Steering Team meetings and cross-department progress reviews
Monitor task completion and encourage follow-through among team members
Develop and deliver informational presentations and training sessions for employee groups
Enter observation data and generate reports using database software
Lead problem-solving and action-planning meetings
Act as liaison between the

Committee and leadership
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend actionable solutions
Attend workshops to network and gather innovative safety ideas
Support and promote the Behavioral-Based Safety Program (A.D.A.P.T.)
Collect and analyze

A.D.A.P.T.

data daily to identify trends and work with the Steering Committee to create action plans that reduce employee exposure to hazards.
Coordinate observer coverage for

A.D.A.P.T.

during outages and turnarounds
Maintain

A.D.A.P.T.

documentation and reports
Spend approximately 75% of time in the field to ensure compliance and support safety initiatives
Provide safety support to contractor groups, including attending meetings, delivering orientations, monitoring work, and verifying safe work conditions
Review field safety audits and escalate concerns to the Safety Manager
Make budget recommendations for safety and A.D.A.P.T.-related initiatives
Conduct on-site safety audits for Nutrien employees and contractors
Facilitate safety orientation sessions for new employees What you will bring: High School Diploma required
3-5 years chemical manufacturing experience and process plant safety experience desired
Specific knowledge related to safety regulation and compliance practices
