This position is responsible for the safety and health of all employees, environmental oversight and site continuous improvement. Key duties include having advanced knowledge of and overseeing/owning: machine/employee safety/health, OSHA compliance, environmental compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Safety:

Responsible and accountable to ensure you and employees around you are acting in a safe, professional manner while on company premises. See something, say something attitude; lead the solution. Follow all Environmental, Safety and Health practices required and be a role model for others. Investigate/led all proactive and reactive safety/health/environmental concerns. Put in place OSHA programs and monitor compliance

Quality:

Responsible and accountable for the quality and integrity of every job run under your watch. Perform necessary Quality activities (Quality checks, system checks, additional as you see fit, etc.) to the level required.

Measurement Skills :

Ability to measure in both Imperial and metric increments (to 1/16th of an inch and millimeters).

Lifting and Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily job functions.

Qualification Requirements:

2+ years Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager). and training 2+ years experience in safety/health/environmental and ability to create programs form ground up. Maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance Ability to use a ruler or tape measure for measurements in both Imperial and metric increments. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proven ability to promote the adoption of standardized processes and systems Proven ability to foster a collaborative work environment across the supply chain and full business Proven track record of learning, designing, and implementing good business process and systems Proven track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives resulting in sustained results and embedded behaviors across complex manufacturing environments Relevant financial acumen in supply chain finance Intermediate computer and math skills Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Energized and constantly improving Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule:
Shift Hours :

24/7 ownership of discipline. Expected to stay late and arrive early for scheduling and reporting. Expected to alter schedule to meet business needs and own their stream 24/7

Shift Availability :

Must be able to work needed overtime to support business needs
