Site Safety Coordinator Sierra Safety New York, NY 10040 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices. Duties Coordinate and supervise all site activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operations. Monitor compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and other regulatory requirements. Implement risk management strategies to minimize workplace hazards and ensure worker safety. Manage workers’ compensation claims and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards. Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage documentation, and communicate with stakeholders. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Prepare reports on site activities, including progress updates and compliance audits. Skills Strong knowledge of construction site operations and management principles. Proficiency in construction management software for effective project tracking and reporting. Familiarity with NEC regulations, risk management practices, and workers’ compensation processes. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and regulatory bodies. Ability to build positive relationships within the team and foster a collaborative work environment.
