Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System Sector is seekinga Director Industrial Security 1 to join our team of qualified,diverse individuals to lead the Security Operations for arestricted program within our organization. This position will belocated in Melbourne, FL.This position will report directly to theSector Security Director, with co-reporting to the Program Manager.

This position manages security operations across a large program,assuring the security of people, facilities, programs, andoperations in a highly dynamic, diverse, and geographicallydispersed set of National Security efforts. Additionally, thisposition will require up to 25% travel.

The Director IndustrialSecurity 1 will be responsible for providing senior oversight andleadership to Program and Industrial Security Operations across theprogram. Will be part of the sector security leadership team,enabling planning and execution of all aspects of the NG securityfor programs, contracts and operations ranging from unclassified/NGProprietary to Collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP) andSensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs, which willinclude the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development fora large team of managers and security professionals. Ensure thatthe team fosters a cohesive and collaborative environment wherediversity and innovation is encouraged. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders,including government agencies and cognizant security authority tohelp aid in decision making and execution that will impact programperformance and compliance. Coordinate with senior business area leadership to resolveissues that could have an impact on the security, safety andcompliance of employees, programs, facilities and operations. Will apply expert multi-discipline program security managementexperience (Program Security, OPSEC, PERSEC, Physical Security,Technical Security, Information Assurance, INFOSEC, COMSEC, etc.)to enable execution, reduce/eliminate redundancies, and assurecross-discipline and cross-organizational teamwork throughconsistent and repeatable process management. Oversee implementation of processes related to classifiedcontract management, program security, classified programs, insiderthreat, counterintelligence awareness, supply chain security,compliance with government standards, COMSEC, workplace violenceprevention, security awareness, asset protection, access control,badge and identification, and ITAR/Export related securitymeasures. Manage the integration of all security initiatives across theorganization and ensure employee engagement and facilities changeas necessary to meet contract compliance while meeting operationaland business goals. Must be willing to seek and take on active and direct roleswith Industry/Government security organizations to include activeworking group participation, executive committee membership andchair/vice chair positions as/if possible. Oversee program emergency and crisis management planning andexecution, with integrating role in sector crisis management andbusiness resilience planning and execution. Oversee the investigation of Security incidents and assist withdisciplinary and legal matters as necessary. Responsible for the planning, management, and execution ofdirect and indirect Security budget.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree AND 10+ years’ experience inSecurity within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industriesor Military related experience OR a Master’s degree AND 8+ years’experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace,Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience OR HighSchool Diploma AND 14+ years’ experience in Security within theAircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military relatedexperience. Must have 5+ years of management or leadership experiencewithin a Security organization. Must have an active Top Secret DoD clearance and the ability toobtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to commencement ofemployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must have at least 10 years of experience in IndustrialSecurity across the entire security spectrum (DOD, IC and NISPOM -Collateral, SCI and SAP), Physical Security, Cyber InformationAssurance, COMSEC and Emergency/Crisis Management planning andexecution. Experience in national Security classified programs andmanaging complex resources and budgets for large securityteams. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree and 12 years ofexperience in Industrial Security, to include 8 years in managementwith experience managing multiple programs/locations. Proven ability and experience working with US Governmentsecurity leadership in DOD and IC security programs. Experience and direct participation with Government/IndustrySecurity Organizations (ISWG, NDIA, AIA, NCMS, etc.). Possess a breadth of demonstrated business, financial andmanagement skills, knowledge and abilities. Current TS/SCI access would be preferred.

Salary Range:

$155,100- $232,700The above salary range represents a general guideline;however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors whendetermining base salary offers such as the scope andresponsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience,education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on theposition, employees may be eligible for overtime, shiftdifferential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions aswell as allow employees to share in company results. Employees inVice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long TermIncentives.
