SECURITY GUARD

The Internal Security Guard position is responsible for the monitoring of Phifer Incorporated property against fire, theft, vandalism, unauthorized use of equipment and supplies. This position is also responsible for enforcing Phifer Incorporated security functions, including physical security and safety of employees, facilities, and assets. This is a variable shift position. Prior experience in security operations or law enforcement and the ability to walk long distances is required. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Will performs access control of all personnel and vehicles entering Phifer Incorporated property, processing employees, contractors, vendors and visitors in accordance with prescribed guidelines. 2. Will performs fire control and preventive inspections, routine security checks, parking enforcement duties and traffic control. Provides customer service and assistance to employees and company departments as needed. 3. Will proactively conducts designated vehicle and foot patrols of Phifer Incorporated properties and facilities ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property and product, remaining alert for theft, intrusion, unsecure and unsafe conditions. Responds to fire, leaking pipes, intrusion and duress alarms, taking appropriate measure to restore situations. 4. Will identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches 5. Will be responsible for staffing the supply room issuing products and parts in a timely manner when required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Prior experience in security operations or related law enforcement experience is preferred Prior Military Service experience is a plus High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Must have good communication skills and the ability to interface with drivers, customers and others that come to Phifer Incorporated.
