Security Officer Peddlers Bar and Bistro 16 Clifton Park Village Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our facility, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing ID Scanner, conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance of premises. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as necessary Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, or unusual activities for management review Engage in conflict management techniques to resolve disputes effectively while maintaining professionalism. Qualifications Previous experience in Bar security, or a related field is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must pass any required background checks or certifications relevant to the position. Must Have a NYS Security License active .
