The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will monitor premises, enforce rules and regulations, and respond to incidents effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to security and an ability to handle various situations with professionalism and composure. Duties Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety. Utilize CCTV systems to observe activities and identify potential security threats. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols. Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain CPR certification. Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing accurate reports of incidents. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Skills Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems. Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies. Certified in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Military experience or certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
