First Response Secutity – Maintenance Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

Security personnel’s primary function is to maintain the safety andsecurity of all residents and employees of the facility. Security shallalso be concerned with the care of property and equipment of thefacility. Has knowledge of patient/resident Bill of Rights. Allresponsibilities will be conducted in a manner that exhibits theIntegritus mission, vision and core values.

• Essential Job Functions:

• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals withdisabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Makes scheduledrounds inside buildings, noting security hazards and responding asnecessary.
• Makes scheduled rounds outside of buildings to insure asecure environment for
• residents, and their property as well ascompany property.
• Responds to all fire, security and link to lifecalls.
• Keeps log of equipment, gauges and controls, for dry sprinklersand boilers.
• May be asked to do light maintenance, such as changinglight bulbs, touch up painting, etc., as it relates to the safety of thefacility.
• Provides daily reports and suggestions to supervisor ofsecurity.
• Provides protection to late working employees requestingescort to their vehicles.
• Responsible for shoveling and saltingsidewalks as needed.
• Checks common areas, phones and checks outsidedoors throughout the facility are secure.
• Responds immediately to allalarms and emergency situations with the Community Care Provider.
• Performs CPR and First Responder tasks as required by a situation.
• Accomplishes additional duties as directed and required by supervisorsto provide support and assistance to other personnel further assuringcomplete resident, property and employee safety.

• Qualifications:

• One year experience in security preferred.
• High School Diploma orequivalent.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required yearly.
• Mustdemonstrate the ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must beprompt, honest and reliable.
• Must be able to function in a courteous,friendly, helpful and controlled manner in all situations.
• Mustdemonstrate the ability to operate an AED machine.
• Must demonstratethe ability to read HVAC gauges and to record this information.
• Mustdemonstrate the ability to understand the functioning of emergencyequipment including alarm systems and other emergency communications.
