• Afternoon Shift in Emerald Isle, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your role supports a welcoming environment by responding to situations as they arise and working collaboratively with your team. PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings during patrols.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist visitors, customers, and staff with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
