Job Responsibilities Patrols, inspections and investigations require frequent indoor and outdoor routines in all types of weather conditions; foot, vehicle and stationary patrols required; possible exposure to hazardous materials, severe weather conditions and physical confrontations with unstable persons and individuals who are violating laws and regulations.

Relations to other positions:

Works closely with other security officers, student workers, shuttle drivers, resident directors and advisors, maintenance personnel, university administrators, local law enforcement agencies and emergency services. Education /

Experience Education Required:

Associate Degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent experience

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Experience
Prior Law Enforcement experience preferred but not required.
Licenses Must have a valid driver’s license with no significant convictions. NYS Security License-All officers must possess a valid NYS Security Guard license. If you are not currently licensed as a NYS Security Guard, Fisher will take care of the expenses associated with obtaining your license.

Competencies / Skills
