Copy of Unarmed Security Guard A Little Security Company Long Island City, NY 11101 Just A Little Security Company is seeking a reliable, experienced Security Officer to join us. Job Duties Include:

Checking IDs for entry Responding to disturbances in or around the shop Actively monitoring shop entry/exit points and floor activities at all time Making periodic rounds in the vicinity of the shop Staying alert and service and security-focused whenever in guest areas Answering guest questions, assisting on the sales floor as needed

Requirements:

1 year of security guard experience Active Security guard license Must possess a valid NYS security guard license- Must be at least 21 years of age Must provide certification from 8/16 hour pre-guard course. Work experience in a Security/Door Person role is required Outstanding customer service skills Able to work a varied schedule, including days, evening, weekends and holidays, as business requires Can work within strict compliance requirements while keeping a positive attitude A proven track record of success diffusing difficult situations while working in a security role
