Security Job SUMMARY:

Provide a safe and secure living and workingenvironment for students and staff. Assists in the investigation ofaccidents and incidents with the goal of resolution and reductionof future occurrences.

Security Responsibilities Include:

liAssists Safety & Security Department to maintain a safe and secureCenter environment. li Investigates all accidents/incidents underthe direction of management and prepares required reports,recommending corrective action. li Conducts routine safetyinspections and assessments of all Center equipment and facilitiesto identify potential safety and security hazards. li Responsiblefor Center security, visitor control and student accountability. liMay assist dorm staff in conducting dorm inspections and searchesfor contraband. li Provides high-quality supervision and managementfor the student population. Takes swift and appropriate action andpositively influences student behavior. Shows respect and courtesyto students and holds them accountable for their actions andbehavior. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

High SchoolDiploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Mustpossess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Companyinsurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting,standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing,carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates theability to lift 40 pounds and /or the ability to assess the liftload in order to ask for necessary assistance.
