Security Guard 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars Roaring Spring, PA 16673 Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing theft or vandalism, and responding to emergencies. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment while providing excellent customer service. Duties Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect any suspicious activity. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed. Conduct thorough inspections of the premises, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. Provide first aid assistance as required and maintain a first aid kit in accordance with safety regulations. Skills First Aid certification is preferred; CPR certification is a plus. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies to minimize risks. Experience in surveillance operations, including CCTV monitoring. Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle difficult situations with professionalism. Familiarity with law enforcement practices is beneficial for maintaining security protocols. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
