The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on surveillance, loss prevention, and conflict management. The Security Guard will work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to ensure the safety of the premises. Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate CCTV systems to monitor activities in designated areas. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility. Provide first aid or CPR as necessary in emergency situations. Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage. Skills Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies. Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols. Strong surveillance skills to monitor environments effectively. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. Experience in conflict management to handle disputes calmly and effectively. A background in military service is a plus but not required. Possession of relevant security certifications is advantageous.
