Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled and trained individuals to join our team as Armed Guards. As an Armed Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ premises, assets, and personnel. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect any unauthorized activity
• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to identify potential security threats
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and provide a sense of security
• Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance
• Perform access control duties by verifying identification and granting or denying entry
• Conduct thorough searches of individuals, vehicles, or bags as required
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Provide assistance during emergency situations, including first aid, conflict management, and CPR if certified

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement is preferred
• Must possess a valid armed guard license or be willing to obtain one
• Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment and CCTV systems
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Excellent observation skills with the ability to quickly assess situations
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
