Position Summary
Essential Responsibilities
In this role the incumbent’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Repair & Troubleshooting
- Disassemble, inspect, and repair a variety of Acme-manufactured aerospace electronic assemblies, components, and battery systems.
- Isolate failures to the component level using schematics, diagnostic tools, and root cause analysis.
- Perform repairs involving both surface mount and through-hole components in compliance with IPC and J-STD standards.
- Replace failed components such as resistors, capacitors, thermistors, relays, and microcontrollers.
Testing & Inspection - Conduct functional and acceptance testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, hipot testers, and battery test stands
- Perform incoming inspection and initial bench-level screening of returned items.

- Calibrate workstations and soldering equipment as required to ensure proper functionality.
Documentation & Compliance - Accurately record all repair, test, and inspection data on repair travelers and maintenance records.
- Complete all material movement tags, part requisition forms, and inventory-related documentation.
- Maintain compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations, company policies, and Repair Station Manual procedures.
- Successfully complete and maintain FAA Repairman Certificate and Acme-mandated training.
Materials & Inventory Support - Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate restocking requests when levels are low.
- Coordinate with supply chain to ensure timely availability of components for repair.
Collaboration & Safety - Work independently or in a team environment to meet production and repair schedules.
- Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives within the repair station.
- Adhere to ESD, hazardous materials, and lithium battery safety protocols.
- Represent the company professionally when interfacing with internal and external customers.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.

Physical Demands
With or without reasonable accommodation:
- Must be able to lift and move documents or materials up to 60 pounds.
Required Qualifications - 5-10 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair, preferably in an FAA- regulated environment.
- Strong component-level troubleshooting and soldering skills (through-hole and SMT).
- Familiarity with battery technologies and their failure mechanisms.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as CMMs, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficient with standard bench tools and diagnostic instruments.
- FAA Repairman Certificate or eligibility to obtain one under FAR Part 145 preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
Work Environment - Work is performed in both controlled office and shop floor environments.
