00/hour (Based on experience and qualifications) Per Diem Split Available for Those Who Qualify This is a rotary-wing environment supporting helicopter production in a Part 21 manufacturing setting. FAA A&P or FCC License Preferred, but not required
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technicians with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . This role supports helicopter production and modification under Part 21 regulations. Ideal candidates will have experience performing avionics troubleshooting, kit installations, and system checks. Those with backgrounds in commercial modifications or Wi-Fi installation will transition well, as most work involves installing pre-packaged kits.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, configuration, operational checks, and checkout of avionics systems and sub-systems Install, route, terminate, pin, and depin avionics wiring in accordance with engineering instructions Read and interpret wire diagrams and installation drawings Support kit installations including Wi-Fi and other pre-engineered avionics modifications Conduct continuity and function checks on installed systems Accurately complete all required documentation in accordance with company and FAA standards Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and fellow technicians to ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of avionics experience in an MRO or manufacturing environment Proficient in wire routing, terminations, and pinning/depinning of connectors Ability to read and work from wire diagrams, installation manuals, and engineering drawings Experience performing operational and continuity checks on avionic systems Prior commercial modification or Wi-Fi kit installation experience highly preferred Must pass a drug screen and background check All tools are provided on site!
