Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles and/or equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle/equipment components Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess problems and identify solutions Maintain accurate service and repair records Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies as needed Test repaired equipment for proper performance Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding issues and repair timelines Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle/equipment components Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess problems and identify solutions Maintain accurate service and repair records Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies as needed Test repaired equipment for proper performance Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding issues and repair timelines
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred Proven experience as a mechanic in automotive, heavy equipment, or a related field Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on the role) ASE certification or other relevant certifications preferred High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred Proven experience as a mechanic in automotive, heavy equipment, or a related field Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on the role) ASE certification or other relevant certifications preferred uction needs and may include overtime as required.
