Automotive Installation Technician Frontline Safety Conway, AR 72034 Frontline Safety, LLC is seeking a qualified Automotive Installation Technician to join our vehicle upfitting team. This role focuses on the installation of specialized equipment into law enforcement, fire, rescue, and other emergency and service vehicles. Work includes navigating 12V systems through the integration of electrical systems, mounting of hardware, and fabrication of custom solutions. The Technician will be a self-starter, open-minded to build on their skills, and a problem solver who works well within a team environment, and individually without constant supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend repairs. Conduct thorough inspections of automotive electrical systems and mechanical components. Install emergency lighting systems, radios, control terminals, partitions, sirens, and other related vehicle equipment. Interpret and follow installation instructions, schematics, work orders, to meet customer requirements. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures. Ability to creatively problem solve when it comes to installation of equipment during tricky situations. Drill, cut, and modify vehicle interiors and components as needed to support installation. Complete wiring and electrical integration tasks with precision and safety. Meet clear deadlines set for vehicle upfitting. Maintain a clean and organized work environment that complies with company safety protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience working with vehicle upgrades, repairs, and electrical systems. Prior experience running and connecting wire in vehicles is required. Experience with vehicle programming is seen as a major plus. Installing vehicle lighting systems seen as a major plus. Prior law enforcement experience is very beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools. Capable of mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving in real time. Familiar with 12-volt systems and electrical wiring. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Able to adapt to changes in procedures or customer specifications. Able to work independently with minimal oversight. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. Must be able to reliably commute to Conway, AR.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday. Day shift. Occasional weekend work as needed.
