Job Description:
- Franklin Ford is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Entry to Mid-Level Automotive Technicians to join our busy service department.
- This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their careers in the automotive industry. You will work on a variety of Ford vehicles, performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. We value teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
- Conduct basic to intermediate diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues
- Perform repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Accurately document all work performed and parts used
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and dealership policies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with Ford technologies.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an automotive technical program or relevant vocational training preferred
- 1-3 years of experience as an automotive technician preferred (entry-level candidates with strong foundational knowledge are encouraged to apply)
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
