Automotive Service Writer Last Chance Auto Inc. Creamery, PA 19430 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their automotive service needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians. Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their automotive service needs. Handling incoming calls and providing helpful, friendly service to our customers. Accurately document customer requests and vehicle issues for the service team. Provide estimates for repairs and services. Handle cash transactions securely and efficiently. Transmit repair orders to technicians and follow up on progress to keep customers informed. Maintain organized records of customer interactions and service history. Ensure a clean and welcoming environment in the service area. Managing parts orders for vehicle repairs Skills Strong background in automotive service, with knowledge of mechanics and automotive repair processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Experience in cash handling and financial transactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage paperwork and customer records accurately.
