Job Description:

Job Details:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment andpany assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment andpany assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction
- Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems
- Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations
- Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule
- Complete appropriate paperwork and reports
- Mustply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs
- Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs
- Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision
- Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision
- Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity. It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid.
- The positions physical requirements will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.
- Lifting will also be required and depending on department could be up to 70lbs.
- Required to wear a safety toe boot that can withstand 75lbs. at all times.
- Basicputer skills with knowledge in Word and Excel.
- Good interpersonal andmunication skills are
critical.
Proficiency in reading and writing, ability toplete on-the-job paperwork and effectivelymunicate across all management levels.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of Maintenance experience or graduate of Industrial Maintenance Training program orbination of experience and education to meet the 2 year requirement.
Must list job experience related to work history history, skills, and education information on application.
