Summary As a Maintenance Person at Hampton by Hilton, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This role is vital to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our guests, contributing directly to their overall experience. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel facilities are in optimal condition. Conduct inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues and necessary repairs. Utilize CMMS to track maintenance requests and manage work orders efficiently. Assist in the installation and repair of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC units. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory supplies. Collaborate with other team members to address guest concerns regarding facility issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all maintenance activities. Support special projects as needed, including fabrication or painting tasks. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles. Ability to read and interpret schematics for various systems. Proficient in English for effective communication with team members and guests. Experience with CMMS is preferred but not required. Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus. Basic residential painting skills are beneficial for upkeep tasks. Supervisory experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving.
