Specific responsibilities include:
Respond promptly to weekend maintenance requests from staff to ensure a safe environment for patients. Perform as needed repairs on facility systems that come up on the weekends. Conduct regular weekend inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Keep Facilities Manager informed when specific maintenance requests are beyond the scope of weekend hours. Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Basic handyman experience including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills. Effective communication skills in English for collaboration with team members. Facilities maintenance experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, nursing home, etc.) is preferred.
