The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces in commercial settings. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and safety, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment. Ensure all floor care tasks are completed in accordance with established safety protocols. Inspect floors regularly to identify areas needing repair or deep cleaning. Maintain custodial supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Collaborate with environmental services teams to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the facility. Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain a positive attitude while interacting with staff and clients. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning and custodial services. Proficiency in floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing. Knowledge of carpet cleaning methods and equipment operation. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with environmental services best practices is a plus.
