Job Description:

Tile Installer / Tile Setter Daily duties include, but are not limited to: Install tile for floors, shower walls, backsplashes, etc. Measure and cut tiles using wet saws and other tile cutting tools Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate underlayment or waterproofing Lay out patterns and spacing for tiles using spacers, levels, and chalk lines Grout and caulk tile installations to create a clean, finished appearance Perform demolition and surface prep prior to tile installation Ensure tile installations are plumb, level, and aligned to design specs Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and tools Work closely with team members to stay on schedule and meet client expectations Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Complete punch list items and ensure high-quality finishing touches

Job Requirements:

2+ years of professional experience in tile installation (flooring, walls, backsplash) Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and laying a variety of tile materials (ceramic, porcelain, stone, etc.) Knowledge of waterproofing and surface preparation techniques Experience with other remodeling trades a plus (e.g., carpentry, drywall, caulking, painting) Must own standard tile tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remodeling team Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Valid Driver’s License Commitment to job site safety and cleanliness
