Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing general maintenance of buildings and grounds at a high-rise condominium association.
Duties include:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the property. Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner using the designated work order system. Carry out general maintenance, janitorial tasks, and groundskeeping within the community associations. Conduct periodic inspections of common areas, buildings, and structures to ensure proper upkeep. Report needed repairs, improvements, and safety concerns to the supervisor. Demonstrate basic knowledge in the following areas: carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, cleaning, locks, plumbing, and painting. Coordinate with vendors and oversee their work to ensure it meets community standards. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience. Proficiency in carpentry, concrete work, locks, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting. Experience with general cleaning and janitorial tasks. Ability to speak, read, and write in English; bilingual abilities are a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to safely and effectively use tools, materials, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with safety standards to prevent harm to self, others, or the environment.
Desired:
Basic electrical maintenance experience is a plus but not required. Familiarity with chilled water systems, elevators, fire pumps, generators, and fire safety equipment. Pool maintenance experience is a plus. Candidates must obtain pool certification within 30 days of hire to manage pool responsibilities. Certification costs will be covered by the property.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00
PM Pay and Benefits:
$30.00/hour to $31.25 hour, depending on education and experience.
