Maintenance Technician Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Maintenance Technician Sea Jay Motel 11240 1st Street East, Treasure Island, FL 33706 We are looking for a versatile “Jack/Jill of all trades” to become our Maintenance Technician. Our ideal new hire will be experienced in a broad variety of maintenance needs from basic electrical and plumbing to grounds-keeping and repair/remodel installations, pool care, and more. Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct routine inspections of the premises and equipment Perform preventative and corrective maintenance Repair flooring, door, walls, plumbing, small appliances, and other fixtures Repainting walls, fixing broken furniture, and correction of leaks in kitchens and bathrooms Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary Perform appropriate clean-up following maintenance activities Respond to maintenance requests by hotel manager and/or front desk and housekeeping staff If you are polite and respectful with a professional demeanor, have good communication skills and can plan, prioritize, organize, and execute your work, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a true team player, someone willing to jump in and support other departments, and available or emergency calls afterhours, when necessary. This position requires someone with someone willing to be flexible to the needs of the motel. Weekends will be required (likely schedule Thursday though Monday). Starting time 9 am. Having your own tools is not necessary. The position offers an hourly rate beginning at $18/hour depending on experience. All positions will have a 90-day probation period.
