Full Job Description Overview:

CRRC MA is seeking a Facility Support Technician to assist in the daily operations of our location in Springfield, MA. We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the facilities and equipment within our organization. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and the safety of our employees.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and implement necessary repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, and compressors
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for repairs
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and practices
• Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and logic controllers
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
• Experience using CMMS software for work order management
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Supervisory experience is a plus
