Maintenance Technician 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Harrisburg, NC 28075 Job Summary We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our high-speed, continuous production facility in Harrisburg, NC. This role is critical to maintaining and repairing machinery, ensuring maximum production uptime, and supporting the overall safety and efficiency of our plant. Key Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery. Test, inspect, and adjust or replace malfunctioning electrical components. Reassemble and run machines to verify repairs meet operational standards. Move and install motors, electrical systems, and control equipment. Diagnose issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Operate forklifts and man lifts; perform elevated work safely. Lead and support maintenance projects and activities. Conduct preventative maintenance and general facility upkeep. Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Read and follow equipment manuals and technical schematics. Required Qualifications 2+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance in a continuous production environment. Strong time management and multitasking skills. Able to read electrical schematics and use a multimeter (up to 480V). Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and 3-phase motors. Skilled with shop tools and basic welding. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve under pressure. Comfortable working in physically demanding and safety-focused environments. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous shift work experience. Overhead crane repair experience (1+ year preferred).
