Maintenance Technician Bioactive Services South Plainfield, NJ 07080 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at troubleshooting and repairing various systems within commercial facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in optimal working condition. Duties Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery (e.g., motors, pumps, conveyors, blender, etc.) Diagnose and repair mechanical and minor electrical issues Replace worn or damaged parts (belts, bearings, motors, seals, etc.) Lubricate equipment and ensure proper function during operation Maintain tools and repair equipment in working condition Assist in facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Document maintenance activities and report any major issues to management. Perform minor plumbing, lighting, and building repairs Monitor HVAC and compressed air systems Repair or replace doors, flooring, light fixtures, and basic facility structures Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas Respond quickly to equipment or facility breakdowns Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work reports Follow safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and GMP standards Assist in installation, relocation, or setup of machines or facility systems Communicate with supervisors or production leads about issues and resolution timelines Join our dedicated team of professionals committed to maintaining high standards of service and quality in our facilities!
